Sant'Antonio's feast day was yesterday, and I spent it in the company of hundreds of his grateful devotees at his shrine church in Greenwich village. The homily included a story about two parishioners debating who is more powerful--God, or Sant'Antonio. The pews were packed, with dozens of people left standing in the aisles during Mass.
